KARIMAGUA by VIANA PRODUCCIONES // KARIMAGUA es un documental realizado entre noviembre de 2010 y junio de 2011 en el parque Arví, Corregimiento de Santa Elena. Hace parte de un trabajo de investigación para Hábitat I y Hábitat II, Facultad de Arquitectura, Universidad Nacional de Colombia, sede Medellín. La temática socio-ambiental, característica principal de este trabajo, se presenta como una reflexión sobre la verdadera conveniencia en la ejecución de megaproyectos, así como la generación de nuevas actividades laborales en zonas de reserva natural como el ecoturismo, donde muy pocas veces se tiene en cuenta la opinión de los habitantes del lugar. El afán por construir y cumplir cronogramas gubernamentales genera inconformidades y obras con calidad deficiente, lo que genera apreciaciones dividas y situaciones de cambio que, en éste caso puntual, afectan notablemente la flora, la fauna y, por supuesto, al habitante nativo. La producción audiovisual fue financiada en su totalidad por sus realizadores. El estilo, la narrativa, la composición, así como la exhaustiva construcción del guión en etapa de postproducción, y montaje, fue previamente estudiada teniendo en cuenta que KARIMAGUA es el primer proyecto audiovisual de género documental de los realizadores y que, en todo momento, se decidió explorar y experimentar en áreas importantes como la fotografía y el montaje. Es así como desde el principio del documental se genera y se mantiene durante todo el tiempo, una atmósfera propia, sugestiva y evocadora. Próximamente! The desire to build and meet government timelines generates dissatisfaction and poor quality work, leading to situations of appraisals divide and change, in this specific case, significantly affect the flora, fauna and, of course, the native.
